VINTAGE CONDITIONS

Vintage 2014 experienced below average rainfall throughout the growing period providing a very dry vintage. Temperatures were cooler than average during the flowering period resulting in less fruit. The combination of low yields and mild conditions during the ripening period has resulted in another excellent vintage.

WINEMAKING

Hand picked and wild fermented. Champagne clone picked for strawberry flavours and French clone picked for cherry. 35% whole bunch, open top fermenter. 100% French oak barrels.
