Medium bodied dry white wine

Winemaker’s comments

A delicate and complex chardonnay, with ripe primary fruit character complemented with barrel ferment characters and well integrated oak.

Oak Treatment

50% of the blend spent 8months in one year old French oak with the balance of the blend being un-oaked.

Cellaring

Drink young and fresh, however with careful cellaring in the medium term will add further complexity.

Serve

Slightly chilled.

Food

Cold meat platters, hard and soft cheeses, and creamy pasta dishes.

Appearance:

Pale straw.

Nose:

Nectarine and pear, with hints of citrus and freshly baked bread.

Palate:

Full and rich with added complexity from partial barrel ferment in new and 1 year old French oak.
