Welcome to WineCloud

Well here it is, an introduction to WineCloud… A long time coming really, because we have had this idea for long time now, an idea of how to make premium and quality wine from boutique producers and cellar doors more accessible to the general public. So, I thought I’d let you know just how WineCloud came about. I guess WineCloud really stemmed from being stuck in Sydney, but wanting the wine I just bought in the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills only a few weeks earlier. There’s only so much you can take home on the plane and all of those cellar door order forms, lost in the same abyss that those socks tend to disappear into. So, what could make it easier to obtain that awesome wine that I love, whenever I want? WineCloud… One online portal to all of the important cellar doors around the country and yes, potentially the world. To bring the cellar door to your door. And for the winemakers and vineyards, a new way to sell direct to the customer, without relying on distributors or a large corporation dictating prices to the winemakers. So, that’s how it came about it. Essentially I wanted to be able to buy bloody good wine whenever I wanted to. It really shouldn’t be that hard to find the wine that you love… Geez, that last line sounded like a song! So, what are we about? We are about premium wine and supporting small independent vineyards and winemakers. We are about having fun and enjoying good wine responsibly with friends and family. And we are about a providing quality service and a quality product that you will want to keep on coming back to. Next time you need quality wine, buy a case from your favourite winemaker, the next time after that, explore more amazing wines from some incredible winemakers you hadn’t tried before. Discover some of the great vineyards and wines that are part of WineCloud and follow other wine lovers recommendations. Next time you want to just chat about great wine, then join us on Twitter or Facebook. And lastly, make sure you subscribe to our emailed newsletter for all of the latest wines, deals, competitions and blogs. Well, if you read to the end I’m impressed. Thanks for listening! Feel free to comment or give us feedback, as we really want to create a great experience for  both wine lovers and wine makers. And if you need an example of what I am talking about, then try and find this awesome wine in your local bottle shop. This Ballycroft Cabernet Sauvignon has to be shared with the world. Go on, I know you want some…

The prices will be set by the vineyards so they can offer discounts when ever they want to so keep checking back or follow on Facebook etc. Happy to give you some recommendations though whenever… Oh yeah, and we are running a promotion for our launch.
