Amongst my travels as a winemaker I have come to recognise the effects that not only a region can have on the characters of a wine but also the sub-region, site and clone of a varietal. I have selected specific varietal clones paired with carefully selected sub-regions of the cool climate area that I love, the Adelaide Hills, for my wines. I believe these are best suited to achieving the modern and elegant style of wine I wish to achieve.

For me, the organic balance of a wine’s characters is key. I have crafted all of these wines by hand and with minimal intervention. I use seasoned french oak and ferment with indigenous yeast from the vineyards to create wines that allow the variety and site to speak for themselves.
