Talits Estate Rosé 2016

2016 Rosé

The Shiraz grapes used for this wine flourished in the volcanic soil of the Fordwich Sill and were lovingly handpicked.

This Provincial style Rosé was produced using the saignée method whereby prior to fermentation the juice is "bled off" from the soaking red grape skins. The juice is then treated like a white wine whereby fermentation occurs under controlled cold temperatures and bottled early to maintain freshness.

This elegant dry wine boasts delicate floral characters and has a refreshing taste that lingers.

The wines soft tannins and smooth mouthfeel lends itself to a wide array of foods or highly enjoyable drinking on its own.

Food Recommendations: Grilled chicken, fish or lamb. Cheese and charcutterie boards
